purpose: The present study aimed to investigate the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction program on the dimensions of hardiness in children with cancer.Method: The present study was an experimental type with pre-test-post-test design with experimental and control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of mothers of children with cancer who were hospitalized in Besat Hospital in May and June 2009, and 43 people announced their readiness to participate in the study. Finally, according to the criteria of entry and exit and drop of the subject, 28 people were selected as a sample and randomly placed in the experimental and control groups, and then after the pre-test; The 8-session Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program was implemented on the experimental group and performed on the experimental and control groups using the kobasa Hardiness Questionnaire after completing the post-test training course. after completing the training, due to the observance of ethical standards, the control group was also trained. Data were tested using covariance statistical analysis. Results: The results of the study indicated that the mindfulness-based stress reduction program increases the overall score of hardiness in mothers of children with cancer (p = 0.020, F = 17.6). Also, a significant effect was observed on the dimensions of challenge and commitment, but no significant effect was found on the control dimension. Conclusion: In this study, mindfulness-based stress reduction program increased the scales of challenge and control scores in mothers of children with cancer by impressing the hardiness mechanism. Therefore, the program can be performed on mothers during their children's hospital stay to make it easier for them to tolerance their child's illness.

Abstract Introduction: Difficulty in emotion regulation causes employing unadjustment strategies to respond to emotions. The basic distinction between cognitive approach and other approaches is the emphasis on this approach to mental processes. The purpose of this research is studying the effect of attention biase modification on emotion regulation and its items in people with avoidant attachent syle. Method: Thus 60 persons of Semnan counselling centers clients in 2018-2019 were selected randomly as sample of the research. Difficulty in Emotion Regulation questionnaire, Experience in Close Relationship questionnaire and Superlab software were used for participates scores evaluating. The scores of emotional adjustment variables and its dimensions in both pre and post test phases were analyzed using repeated measure multivariate analysis of variance analysis. Results: The findings determined attention bias modification by dot probe could reduce difficulty in emotion regulation and make some significant effects on emotion regulation subscales. Conclusion: Results showed attention bias modification can make intervention in order to reduce emotion regulation problems. Also this way can be useful in treatment by emotional and attentional bias approach. Keyword: Emotion regulation, Avoidant attachment, Attention bias, Dot prob

The purpose of the present research was a review of the effect of instructing negative emotion management skills on parents’ anxiety thoughts with autistic children. Method of research was quasi-experimental, and its type is a pretest-posttest design without control group. Population of the study consisted of all parents of children with pervasive developmental disorders in the “Zehne Ziba” Medical Center in Hamedan, that their number was 80. Initially, they asked parents by invitation, if they would be interested in attending to training courses in workshops of training negative emotion management, and they declared their readiness. Then, volunteer parents were assessed by the tests of anxiety thoughts, and were present parents with anxiety thoughts in this study which their number was 40. In this study anxiety thoughts questionnaire of Wells were used. The results showed that negative emotion management skills training were effective to reduce the parents’ anxiety thoughts with autistic children, and finally they were confirmed.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of acceptance and commitment therapy on the meta-worry, social anxiety and concern for the students' health. This semi-experimental research design was pretest-posttest control group. Population contained 15000 students, studying in Azad University of Hamadan. The sample consisted of 30 students (20 girls and 10 boys) were selected from the community. A sample of purposive sampling method was used. The subjects were randomly divided into control and experimental groups. The research assessment tools were, the scale of Wales was anxious thoughts. This tool measures social anxiety, generalized anxiety and health anxiety. Acceptance and commitment therapy intervention, based on eight individual 45-minute sessions weekly by the author of the article, was conducted at the Research Center of the MANSHOR MEHR. The subjects responded to a questionnaire before treatment, and one month after treatment. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics and analysis of covariance were performed. The results showed that, acceptance and commitment therapy reduced decline generalized anxiety and social anxiety, but did not reduce health concerns. It is suggested, acceptance and commitment therapy intervention that the researchers used in the study protocol to use in other communities and age groups.

This study attempted to investigate the effectiveness of Schneider’s Hope Teaching theory on the attributional style of the students. Students type of attribution styles were investigated using Attributional Style Questionnaire (ASQ). The research was a quasi experimental one with pretest posttest, control group design. Total sample size was 24 and their experimental and control groups was random. The subjects in the experimental group received some courses on Hope during the eight session treatment period. After the required data was gathered, Covariance was used to analyze the data. The results revealed that Hope teaching increases positive attributional style (internal, stable, general) in positive situations Teaching decreases negative attributional style (external, unstable, local) in negative situations
